Student Progress

One of the powerful features of the Maths-Whizz platform is to benchmark student achievement, and then use this as a way to measure and report on student progress.
This is done by assigning each student a Maths-Whizz International maths-age, which is an aggregate of their results in each topic in their preliminary diagnostic assessment, that is the first stage in their Maths-Whizz journey. Not only do students get the right lesson at the right time in each topic (based on their progress and achievement since their initial diagnostic assessment), the maths-age metric can be used to quantify progress. If a student starts with a maths-age of 8, and ends up with a maths-age of 9, and this is achieved in 6 months of learning, then Maths-Whizz can show accelerated learning.
